Jill’s vision for her work is about the interaction between the artist, the work of art and the viewer. The experience, imagination, memory and finally the lasting relationship between the work of art and the viewer is primary in these interactions.

Jill explains that her work is similar to the experience of poetry and to music; there is rhythm in marks and colour in sound. Jill encourages the viewer to allow colour and mark to be personally experienced .
